Appointed as a Consultant Obstetrician in 2014 , I have extensive experience of high risk antenatal and intrapartum obstetric care. 

I love being a hands-on obstetrician and have never lost the joy of helping a new life safely into the world. 

I provide care to complex twin and high order multiple births, offering personalised care in the North West regional Fetal Medicine Unit at St Mary’s Hospital, Manchester

I am  the site lead for the perinatal mental health service providing support and obstetric planning for women with new or pre-existing mental health issues.

I am responsible for writing and updating local and regional guidelines on maternity care

I have experience in labour ward lead management, safeguarding lead at executive board level, perinatal mortality review and governance/maternity risk management.
